Alto Piemonte to discover
Bramaterra e Coste della Sesia
La Psigula was built upon a dream of Giacomo Foglia and his wife Claudia, young winemakers and wine lovers from Curino, a small village in the North of Piedmont, in the province of Biella.
La Psigula lies at the foot of an old tower surrounded by four vineyards, covering two hectares of property producing about
4500 bottles per year. Here, Giacomo and Claudia have founded their local family-run Company, with a strong desire to promote their surroundings. The porphiry and volcanic soil in this area is ideal for the growth of Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Croatina and Uva Rara vine varieties.
Giacomo, Claudia and their little daughters work hard everyday, taking care of their grapevines, turning
them into red wines that can satisfy the most demanding palates. They produce two DOC wines, Bramaterra and Coste della Sesia Rosso, and another red wine called Classe 21.
